USA Lacrosse’s National Celebrate Lacrosse Week (NCLW) is November 2-10, 2024. This week-long event celebrates the sport of lacrosse by helping to showcase the game to potential players by supporting FREE Beginner Lacrosse Clinics run by youth programs around the U.S. Henry Youth Lacrosse (HYL) is honored to once again have been selected by USA Lacrosse to host a “Pick Up And Play” lacrosse clinic for beginners. This year’s clinic will take place on November 9, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Union Grove High School Stadium.
There is no cost to participate in this free event, though registration is limited to the first 60 players who sign up to attend. This clinic is intended for children new to the sport of lacrosse and Henry Youth Lacrosse. No prior experience or equipment is necessary for this event – HYL will provide sticks and balls and lead clinic participants through a series of fun games that will introduce them to the basic skills of lacrosse. The clinic will be led by Henry Youth Lacrosse’s trained and certified youth lacrosse coaches.
This is a great opportunity for your child to try a new sport and learn what lacrosse is all about. We hope you will join us for the Pick Up And Play Clinic.
